Philosophy

St. James Church - Early Learning CenterWe believe that young children learn best when they are given the opportunity to learn in a language rich classroom that offers a variety of learning opportunities through play and hand-on activities. Young children are very interested in a variety of learning experiences and they enjoy using all five senses to explore their environment. This approach to learning fosters creative thinking and problem-solving skills in a non-biased, non-competitive, developmentally appropriate way. We believe that the culture of family and community play an enormously important role in each child's learning process. We encourage the participation of family members in our program as we work hand-in-hand to raise our children.

Fees and Payment Policies

Tuition is due on the first day of each month. Each family will receive a billing statement at the end of the month in their family mailbox. The statement serves as a receipt of child care payments and an invoice for any balance due. If an account is past due, the family may receive a statement mid-month also. A late fee will be assessed on any payments received after the 10th. Payments may be dropped off in the family mailboxes in the child's classroom cubby. In no event will payment be pro-rated or waived to reflect partial attendance nor will refunds be made available for illnesses or absences during any given week. If a child is absent due to illness or vacation, your tuition will remain the same.

All fees are per child and are non-refundable. Below is our current rate schedule for the 2011-2012 school year, beginning August 2nd, 2011.

Annual Registration Fee $150. Due in full at the time of registration to reserve your space.

Annual Supply Fee $200. Due one month before first day of school.

Monthly Tuition $500 - Two Year Olds.
