Baptism

The sacrament of Baptism is the first step in a lifelong journey of commitment and discipleship. Just as Jesus is God's son, so also the baptized person is a daughter or son of God and is called by God to take on the family resemblance in living and loving as Jesus did.

Baptisms are arranged depending upon personal and family needs. As an example: on Saturday afternoon, and in other instances on Sunday following the 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM masses. Baptismal preparation class is required for parents and godparents.

BAPTISMAL PREPARATION  CLASS

The Baptismal Preparation Class is designed to assist parents and godparents in their growing understanding of what the Sacrament of Baptism celebrates, why the Catholic Faith community celebrates Baptism, and what it means for parents, for godparents, for an infant, and for the larger Faith community. Baptismal classes are held every first Sunday of the month at 5:00 pm, in the cry room.   Please contact the church office (355-1523) for more information or to pre-register.
