Fr. Lanshima was born on March 13th, 1985, the 5th out of 8 siblings. His Father, Daniel Ayangadue Lanshima is deceased. His mother Theresa Lanshima lives in Makurdi, Nigeria with his other siblings.
He graduated from high school in 2004, in 2009 he began his Seminary formation and earned his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy (B.Phil) at St Thomas Aquinas Seminary Makurdi, an affiliate of Urbaniana University, Rome in 2013.
He again received his M.Div. (Master of Divinity) at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary, Boynton Beach, Florida in 2019. He was ordained a deacon on May 19th, 2018 at St John the Baptist Cathedral Savannah.
On July 6th, 2019, He was ordained a Roman Catholic priest at St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Gboko, Nigeria.
He enjoys reading Christian books and playing soccer, table tennis and badminton.
